Is this the right starting point?
You can see the friction.
You need to know what to do about it.
Perhaps reports depend on someone manually assembling information. Customer enquiries sit between teams. Staff spend too much time copying records or chasing approvals. You know improvement is possible, but choosing software before understanding the work can create another problem.
PrimalIntell examines the process behind a real business issue. We test the available evidence, compare feasible improvements and help your leadership team make a defensible investment decision. The diagnostic is a standalone paid advisory engagement; you keep the findings whether or not you commission implementation.
It is designed for businesses in Nigeria and Africa that have a recurring operational problem, an accountable sponsor and access to the people who understand the work.
What your team receives
A current-state workflow view
A shared picture of how the work happens, where hand-offs fail and where effort is lost.
An evidence and value-loss baseline
A measurable starting point, with known facts separated from assumptions and estimates.
A ranked opportunity portfolio
Candidate improvements compared by business value, feasibility and readiness.
A readiness and risk assessment
The data, security, ownership, adoption and integration gaps that need attention.
A pilot charter and business case
One proposed pilot with clear scope, measures, safeguards and acceptance criteria.
An executive decision session
A practical discussion of what to pursue, what to fix first and what to leave alone.
How the seven working days unfold
Preparation happens before Day 1. The seven-day clock begins when the agreed materials and initial payment are received; timely access to your team keeps the work on schedule.
- Preparation
Align the scope
Agree the process area, information request, sponsor and interview plan.
- Day 1
Set the business objective
Clarify the problem, constraints and the decision management needs to make.
- Day 2
Map the real workflow
Trace the work, hand-offs, systems and recurring failure points.
- Day 3
Establish the baseline
Examine volumes, time, delays, errors, costs and possible revenue effects.
- Day 4
Test readiness
Assess data, people, integrations, security and control requirements.
- Day 5
Choose the opportunity
Rank candidate workflows and recommend a bounded first pilot.
- Day 6
Build the decision case
Set out the value logic, assumptions, risks, roadmap and acceptance measures.
- Day 7
Make an informed decision
Review findings in an executive session and decide to proceed, pause or stop.
What we need from your business
- One executive sponsor and one process owner.
- Three to six short interviews with people who perform, manage or depend on the work.
- Relevant procedures, sample records and performance information.
- Availability to test assumptions and attend the executive decision session.
We request only the access needed for the diagnostic. Sensitive information can be redacted or demonstrated without being transferred.
The investment
The fee pays for a clear management decision and reusable outputs, with implementation scoped separately.
Standard diagnostic
₦1,200,000
The reference fee for the defined scope.
Founding-client rate
₦650,000
A capacity-limited launch rate for early external engagements, subject to availability and agreed terms.
Payment: 60% to schedule the engagement and 40% before the executive decision session. Fees exclude applicable taxes and third-party costs. Work beyond one priority process area is priced separately.
Conditional pilot credit: ₦250,000 may be credited toward a separately scoped workflow pilot commissioned within 30 days, where agreed in the statement of work.
The founding-client arrangement includes discussing a potential anonymised case study. Any publication requires your separate, explicit written approval.
Clear boundaries, useful next steps
The diagnostic covers assessment and planning. It excludes software licences, custom development, production deployment, procurement management, a formal security audit and legal or regulatory advice. Financial benefits remain estimates until validated in a controlled pilot.
The recommendation may be to improve the process first, collect better data, equip your team, run a pilot or postpone investment. Success means knowing which decision the evidence supports.
If a pilot is justified, our workflow automation service turns the agreed scope into a measured implementation. Where adoption is the priority, workforce enablement helps people use and supervise the change.
Experience behind the method
Our approach grew from practical operating work: documenting processes, automating recurring tasks and preserving human judgement. Read how that approach shaped the AfterSchoolAfrica operation.
